Public Hearing on Access and Equity in the California Community College System

In an effort to help educate the larger community and expand on the impact the proposed title 5 policy changes will have on historically under-represented and academically underprepared students, the Los Amigos of Orange County would like to invite you and your leadership team to attend a special Public Hearing called “Access and Equity in the California Community College System.”   The hearing will include discussions on the proposed revisions to Title 5 Regulations on pre-requisites, co-requisites and advisories; the related settlement with MALDEF, and the access implications.
Los Amigos of Orange County has serious concerns about the impact that the revised regulations would have on students access to higher education.  We would like to encourage you to attend the hearing and subsequently convey any concerns about the impact of the proposed revisions on Title 5 regulations to the CCC Chancellor and the Board of Governors.
The hearing is scheduled to take place on June 24th and will be hosted by the Fullerton College President Schauerman at the Student Center from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Room 224.  We encourage you  to attend.  Please RSVP to:
